You can become involved in supporting Ribchester Roman Museum in several ways. We are a non-profit, charitable organisation (Ribchester Museum Trust, Registered charity no. 510490).
The Museum relies almost entirely on revenue from admissions to fund its activities. This is supplemented by welcome donations from the public, which also help us to preserve and work with the collections and support exhibitions and events.
Donations can be made in person at the Museum, or cheques made payable to Ribchester Museum Trust can be sent to the address below:

A “Friends of the Museum” society is due to be launched early in 2008. Watch this space for further details. To register your interest, please email the Museum.
We are also very keen to expand the Museum’s collections and would be very pleased to hear from anyone who has locally discovered prehistoric or Roman objects that they would consider donating.
We also offer an identification service. Please feel free to bring any artefacts to the Museum and we will do our best to identify them for you.
